This is the second time in a few weeks that the Pays de Savoie has been affected by a peak of pollution.

“An episode of combustion-type air pollution (fine particles PM10 and nitrogen dioxide NO₂) is underway in the urban area of the Pays de Savoie. As of tomorrow, Friday January 17, Atmo places this area on orange alert,” specifies the Savoie prefecture.

To combat this pollution, measures restrictions are requested by institutions.

Measures for residences and transport

These measures must be applied from January 17, 2025 at 12:00 a.m., and “from 5:00 a.m. with regard to measures relating to transport”.

Here are some of the measures put in place for residences and the transports.
