The alert was given at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday January 14, 2025. A fire has just declared itself in the garage attached to a pavilion from Allée des Sablons, in Montsoult (Val-d'Oise).
On their arrival, the firefighters took charge a 64-year-old resident who was slightly injured. The sixty-year-old having been examined on site, his condition did not require transport to hospital.
Holes in the wall
At the same time, firefighters deployed two hoses to combat the flames. The fire having started propagated to the expansion joint between the two adjoining pavilionsa team from the rescue support and search unit (Usar) of the Val-d'Oise departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis 95) had to intervene. Specialists made holes in the wall to put an end to the disaster.
-An investigation having been opened in order to determine the origin, according to initial findings, the fire started from a garage power outlet.
