Confinement in Plessisville: two young people could be accused of threats

The two young people of minor age, at the origin of a preventive confinement at the end of the morning, Wednesday, at the La Samare high school in Plessisville, could be the subject of accusations of threats.

“Around 11:15 a.m., threats allegedly made by the two young people led to preventive confinement. The young people were then located in the city center,” said Sergeant Marc Tessier of the Media Relations Department of the Sûreté du Québec.

Investigators met the young people accompanied by their parents. The suspects were later released. “No weapon was found,” emphasized the SQ spokesperson.
