Meeting of the Prime Ministers of Canada

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith refuses to side with the Council of the Federation. She is opposed to oil from her province being added to potential retaliatory measures in the event that Donald Trump moves forward with his tariff threats on Canadian imports.

After their meeting Wednesday in Ottawa, his counterparts from other provinces displayed a more united message, indicating that they will react accordingly to the actions of the next American president.
