Road users who plan to use the Louis-Hippolyte-La tunnel will have to find a plan B, since this important road axis will be completely closed in both directions during the night from Friday to Saturday.

These barriers are required due to work related to electrical and communications systems in the tunnel, said the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.

Thus, Highway 25 southbound will be closed between exit 5 (Route 138 in both directions) and the entrance from Île Charron, from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m.

The A-25 towards Montreal will be closed between exit 90 (Highway 20 westbound) and the entrance from Yves-Prévost Boulevard during the same period.

In the Anjou interchange, the ramp leading from Highway 40 westbound to Highway 25 southbound will also be closed, according to the MTQ.

“In the event of unfavorable weather conditions or operational constraints, these interventions could be postponed,” said the MTQ in a press release.
