Cahors Triathlon on the strides of Malbec

On Sunday morning, a group of Cadurcian triathletes met on the 2 nature trails organized by the St Vincent Rive d'Olt festival committee: the Malbec strides. Despite negative temperatures, the group produced great performances and gleaned great memories. On the 25 km (1200 D+), 4 representatives of the club in the race: Camille Desmartins finished 5th overall and 1st M0 in 2h 20'06'', Vincent Cappelle finished 19th and 6th M0 in 2h 39'40'', Mathilde Paquot finished 20th overall, 3rd female and 1st Senior in 2h 40'46'' and finally, Thibault Decaudin finished 67th and 13th M0 in 3h 03'25''. On the 14 km (450 D+), 6 club representatives: Nicolas Oustry finished 8th overall and 2nd M2 in 1h 10'07'', Pascale Lacoste finished 3rd female and 1st M2 in 1h 26'35'', Marie Delmas finished 5th female and 3rd SE in 1h 29'36'', Guillaume Ginoux finished 87th and 8th M0 in 1h 35'49'', Mathieu Moh finished 90th and 9th M0 in 1h 36'40'' and Patrick Stonham finished 134th and 31st SE in 1h 45'59''. The same morning, others participated in the first bike ride of the year organized by Cycle 7, the “social ride for epiphany”. On the program, around forty cyclists and triathletes in 2 groups of levels for 2 circuits of 42 km and 62 km, with the “special Epiphany” refreshment at the finish! A great initiative that cooled hands, but warmed hearts!
