Work is accelerating to breathe new life into Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport, which Morocco wants to transform into a major continental hub serving its tourism.
The National Airports Office (ONDA) has just launched a call for tenders for the repair work on the rampart walk at this airport which will cost some 9.5 million dirhams.
Remember that it is not planned to build a new airport in the largest city in the Kingdom, but to renovate the existing airport by providing it with a third terminal and a new runway. These latest works will be spread over nearly 1,000 hectares which will be expropriated in the commune of Nouaceur.
