The prefecture of announces the strengthening of winter measures in the department due to the low temperatures recorded in recent days and the alert for a violent “cold peak” forecast until Wednesday January 15, 2025.

From Friday January 10 and at least until Tuesday January 14, 2025, the following provisions apply:

  • the Florange night stop is open with a capacity of 11 places
  • the night stop increases its capacity to 15 places with an opening one hour earlier
  • 3 additional beds are deployed at the Betting CHRS and 3 beds at the CHRS
  • extension of opening hours of day receptions

A series of measures complementing the 8,048 accommodation places all public available to Moselle, and falling within the framework of the winter campaign 2024-2025which takes place from Friday November 1, 2024 to Monday March 31, 2025.

“During this period, State services and operators responsible for social monitoring and accommodation pay particular attention to the most vulnerable people, including homeless people,” recalls the Moselle prefecture. .
