a young jogger attacked with a knife by a man in Vergèze
A young woman in her thirties was attacked with a knife in a park this Saturday morning in Vergèze (Gard).
The attack took place this Saturday morning around 11 a.m. in a park in the commune of Vergèze (Gard). A man armed with a knife allegedly stabbed the young woman. After hitting her, the man allegedly stabbed her several times, including to the throat. She was evacuated to the Nîmes University Hospital, her vital prognosis is in jeopardy.
The man in his thirties is still wanted. Around sixty gendarmes are involved in an investigation into attempted intentional homicide.
