In Plabennec, a motorist seriously injured following a head-on collision with a truck
Shortly before 8 a.m., an accident occurred on the D788, near the Callac activity zone, in Plabennec (29), between a truck from the Appéré TP company and a car. The motorist was coming from Plabennec and the truck which was transporting a backhoe loader was coming from the other direction. According to initial information, it was while the driver of the car had begun to overtake a semi-trailer that he crashed into the truck. The Minister of Transport targeted by an investigation for embezzlement of public funds
Philippe Tabarot is the subject of a preliminary investigation for embezzlement of public funds and illegal taking of interests following a report from the High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life (HATVP) in July 2021, indicated a judicial source, confirming information from Le Monde. Also opened for concealment of these two offenses by the National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF), this investigation relates to the positions occupied by Philippe Tabarot within the tourist and cultural public interest group (GIP), then to communication for the municipality of Cannet (Alpes-Maritimes) between 2018 and 2020, a town led at the time by his sister, LR MP Michèle Tabarot.
Storm Dikeledi in Mayotte: red alert lifted at 3 p.m. local time

Fires in Los Angeles: death toll rises to 24, violent winds threaten
Los Angeles is preparing for the return of violent winds threatening to fan the fires which have already killed 24 people, according to a new report released this Sunday evening. In the areas from which the flames have retreated, housing estates are now nothing more than piles of ashes and debris, AFP journalists noted on site.
