Start of fire in a silo which contained wood dust – Le Petit Journal

Sunday January 12, SDIS40 was alerted to the start of a fire in a silo located at the Seripanneaux company in St Vincent de Tyrosse. According to initial information, the fire started in a half-filled wood dust storage with a volume of 250m³. The SDIS40 engaged around fifteen fire fighters on site who were able to extinguish the fire using two fire hoses. This fire could have an impact on the production line and temporarily cause technical unemployment for seven employees.
