Aix Maurienne-Pau (93-98 AD): very good for morale!
The fight was intense and, ultimately, it was Élan Béarnais who had the last word thanks in particular to a remarkable Bastien Pinault. Pau finds itself in 11th place in the standings, with the hope of starting a rise in the standings during the return phase of the championship, by recovering its injured players.
After an effective start from the Béarnais (15-24, 10th), the Savoyards reacted to take the lead at the break (50-44). From there, the two teams went blow for blow. Elan seemed able to win with an 8-length lead with 3 minutes to go. During extra time, the Palois showed themselves to be very solid to achieve this success which did a lot of good.
Next meeting, the reception in Nantes (19th), before two trips to Caen (January 24), then to Hyères-Toulon (January 31).
