The window of a business in the Ville-Marie district of Montreal was shattered by a gunshot on Sunday.

Around 10 a.m., the police went to Guy Street, near Lincoln, regarding a broken window in a business, confirmed the spokesperson for the Police Service of the City of Montreal (SPVM) Emmanuel Couture.

Once authorities arrived on scene, they noticed at least one shell casing on the ground.

The circumstances of the event remain unknown.

Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident.

No arrests were made, and a scene was erected by the SPVM.
