Around 10 a.m. Sunday morning, police responded to a 911 call regarding a possible bullet impact in the window of a business located on Guy Street, near Lincoln Avenue, in the Ville-Marie borough, in Montreal.
“When the police arrived on site, they noticed that the window of the business was indeed broken,” indicates Manuel Couture, media relations officer for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). It is more precisely the window of the Mizan Supermarket. At least one shell casing was found on the ground by the police.
The circumstances surrounding this event are unknown at this time, and no 911 calls regarding shots fired were made. No one was injured and there are no arrests at this time.
Possible witnesses will be met, as will the owners of the place. Recordings taken by surveillance cameras will also be viewed.
In the middle of the day, the security perimeter protecting the scene was lifted.
