Pape Oumar Guèye, head nurse at Poste de Labgar, loses his life in an accident

Pape Oumar Guèye, head nurse at the Labgar health post, lost his life in a road accident that occurred yesterday Friday evening, on the Louga-Dahra axis, near the commune of Koki.

Returning from a meeting in Louga, he was riding on his service motorcycle when he fatally hit a stray horse on the road. The accident was fatal for the nurse.

Alerted, the Koki gendarmes went to the site to carry out the usual findings. The remains of Pape Oumar Guèye were transported to the morgue of the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye regional hospital center in Louga by firefighters.

The funeral is planned for this Saturday at 5 p.m. in Touba.
