MP Guy Marius Sagna, member of the Pastef party, expressed his disagreement regarding the recent statements of Fadilou Keïta, one of the leaders of this political group. According to him, Mr. Keïta’s intervention on the appointment of Dr. Aoua Bocar Ly-Tall to the National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (Cnra) was an error. This opinion was expressed during a broadcast on private radio Sud FM.
Guy Marius Sagna stressed that Fadilou Keïta’s intervention was not justified, especially after Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko provided necessary explanations regarding this appointment. Dr. Aoua Bocar Ly-Tall, doctor in sociology, was appointed as a qualified personality in the Letters sector within the Cnra. This choice had been contested by certain Pastef activists, in particular because of Ms. Ly-Tall’s previous positions.
Among the detractors was Fadilou Keïta, who is also director general of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (Cdc). He expressed his dissatisfaction on social networks, proclaiming that the Pastef project should not be limited to Ousmane Sonko, stressing that many activists and party officials had been imprisoned for defending this project. This information was reported by Justin Gomis and is available on the Le Quotidien website.
