Tambacounda, Jan 8 (APS) – The governor of the Tambacounda region, Guedj Diouf, invited, Wednesday, the various state services present in this administrative district to put the citizen at the heart of public action in implementing implementation of projects and programs.

“We must put the citizen, that is to say the populations, at the heart of our actions. Since this citizen is both an actor and a beneficiary of our actions, we cannot succeed in anything without the citizen” he declared during the the ceremony of presenting New Year greetings to the governor.

All department heads took part in the meeting.

»He acts for us representatives of the State in the region, when I say we, I speak of all the services, I speak of the NGOs and the coordinators of projects and programs, we all have an important role to play in giving substance to the vision of the President of the Republic which is to make Senegal a sovereign country in all,” added Guedji Diouf.

“We must rely on sure values ​​such as probity, sincerity in our actions, loyalty, humility and justice, we must be fair in everything we have to do,” he said.

The governor invited department heads to especially involve women in the implementation of public policies.

“Women constitute a priority in the policies of the State of Senegal. We must take into account the concerns of women, make them more autonomous, preserve women’s rights; These are fundamental questions that all of us must take into account in the Tambacounda region,” he explained.

The head of the regional executive reminded the various services of the need to establish good collaboration with religious authorities and local authorities to succeed in their public service mission.
