With 73 destinations accessible without prior visa, Morocco’s passport reinforces its leading status in North Africa. It outperforms its regional neighbors: Tunisia (73rd with 69 destinations), Mauritania (84th with 58 destinations), Algeria (86th with 56 destinations), Egypt (90th with 52 destinations) and Libya (100th with 40 destinations).
Moroccan citizens can now travel without a prior visa to countries across several continents. Among these destinations are Brazil, the Philippines, Turkey, Lebanon, Senegal and Thailand, demonstrating increased international openness.
In just two years, the Kingdom’s passport has moved up 11 places. This jump reflects a positive dynamic which is part of a global context of evolution in mobility policies.
Globally, Singapore tops the rankings with visa-free access to 195 destinations, followed by Japan (193) and a group of European countries such as France and Germany (192).
