Khadim Ba remains in prison. The Financial Investigating Judge issued an order on January 6, 2025 refusing provisional release to the boss of Locafrique, according to Pressafrik. He has been under arrest since October 4, 2024.
Khadim Ba was charged with forgery and use of forgery in an administrative document, importation without declaration of prohibited goods, involving the sum of 63,052,477,064 F CFA, violation of foreign exchange regulations for failure to repatriate the sum of 44 601,868,874 F CFA, fraud involving public funds for an amount of 63,052,477 064 FCFA, association with a view to committing money laundering and money laundering committed through the use of facilitation through the exercise of a professional activity.
Khadim Ba is not the only person concerned in this procedure. It appears from the file that other individuals not yet identified are being prosecuted for complicity.
