Tragic night in Brétigny-sur-Orge (Essonne). A young woman was killed in her home on the evening of Tuesday January 7. His companion was subsequently arrested by the police and is currently in police custody. The drama unfolded before the eyes of the couple's two children.
The events occurred in an apartment on rue Georges-Charpak, not far from the RER station. It was there, on the upper floors of a residence, that the police discovered the inanimate body of a woman in her home, attacked by a third party. Despite their efforts, the victim could not be resuscitated. She was 34 years old. It was this woman's cries that alerted the neighborhood, who notified the police.
At the same time, the victim's companion, a 29-year-old man, was arrested by the police. He would be the author of femicide. The young man is currently in police custody. The emergency services also took care of the couple's children, two boys aged 5 and 7, who would have witnessed the tragedy.
