Getting locked in an IKEA store to spend the night? This challenge was emulated a few years ago before dying out, but the desire still seems alive. Evenings of this type have already taken place at sites of the Swedish furniture giant, this time on its initiative, in the United Kingdom, Germany and Australia, in particular.
It is Belgium’s turn to offer its customers the chance to spend the night in its establishments, the brand said in a press release on Monday. Eight points of sale in the country “will open their doors for a unique night in store”, on January 24 or 25, it is indicated.
The Arlon store, on the border with Luxembourg, is affected for the night from Saturday to Sunday. To be able to be drawn, you must also be a Belgian or Luxembourg resident and be an IKEA Family Belgium member, it is specified in the rules of the competition, which is held online, until January 12 inclusive.
One hundred and sixty winners are expected, who will receive a duo ticket for a night in the store of their choice. “On the agenda: dinner and various evening activities, such as a movie night or a yoga session, before spending the night in one of the IKEA rooms. When they wake up, IKEA will offer breakfast, and then the participants will go home with goodies.
