However, we cannot remain silent in the face of the violence and suffering inflicted on civilian populations, whether in Gaza, the West Bank or Lebanon. The continued bombing of densely populated areas, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, the blocking of humanitarian aid and settler violence in the West Bank are unacceptable.

These actions betray the values of justice, compassion and respect for human life that we cherish. We believe that peace cannot be built on violence and oppression.
It is essential that all parties respect human rights and engage in constructive dialogue.
We call for an immediate cessation of hostilities, the unconditional release of hostages and the protection of civilians, regardless of their origin. We express our solidarity with all the victims of this conflict, whether Israeli or Palestinian. Human suffering knows no borders, and we must speak out against injustices wherever they occur.
We urge political leaders to work for a just and lasting peace, based on mutual respect and coexistence. We also invite our community and fellow citizens to support initiatives that promote peace and dialogue, while rejecting those that fuel hatred or division.
Together, we must work towards a future where everyone can live in safety and dignity, free from fear and violence.
