All weekend, equestrian games took place in Tramelan. Riding lessons took place on Saturday, before a Gymkhana competition on Sunday. Riders big and small paraded in the Western Hasler Farm riding arena. There were 21 registered for the friendly and family Gymkhana session. This equestrian practice consists of working on the agility of a horse and its rider. “A preparation course took place on Saturday to calmly understand the course, to come with a horse well in his head and relaxed,” explains Elena Ettlin who comes from St-Brais.

This event is the first organized by “Les Djingouses”, the name given to themselves by the two women at the origin of the project. Micaela Maia, originally from Roches, has planned “exercises to learn immobility, direction, to open portals”, enough to manage alone on a walk and forge a special bond with the animal.

Among those registered was Patrizia Mariani. She has since made the trip from Saignelégier, with “Salvador” her 12-year-old Franches-Montagnes horse. She was the second to launch while holding it in a lunge and came out delighted with the experience, even if it was not a first. For her, it is an opportunity to work “so that he gets used to the noise, the wind and not being afraid”. /vfe
