Macabre discovery in the quiet district of Sainte-Anne, in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille. A man was found dead, his eyes sunken in his sockets, according to information from Provence. According to the firefighters who responded to the scene at 10:30 a.m. on January 1, the victim was 76 years old.
-Also in the apartment was a woman, around fifty years old. Found in a state of shock, she was arrested.
We do not yet know the links between this woman and the victim. The crime scene was discovered by a neighbor. According to information from BFM, the owner of the apartment lived in the premises with her daughter. Not having heard from her, and worried, she asked the neighbor, who had the keys, to go there. She was the one who raised the alarm. When they arrived, the firefighters discovered the victim in an advanced state of rigor mortis. Which means that the body had been present for more than 24 hours. An investigation is open.
