According to the DGM forecastsand fairly cold to locally cold weather is expected this Friday inside the country, particularly on the Atlas and its eastern slopes, the Rif and on l’Oriental with Jelly or black ice at night on the reliefs and their surrounding regions. THE daytime temperatures will oscillate between 7 and 14°C on the Atlas, its eastern slopes, the Rif, and the eastern highlands. THE Souss and South provinces will benefit from milder temperatures, ranging from 18 to 25°C, while the other regions will show temperatures between 15 and 22°C.
For Saturday, the weather will remain stable but still cold in the interior of the country. THE jellies or the black ice will appear early in the morning and during the night, particularly on hills and their surroundings. THE minimum temperatures will reach -5 to 1°C in the Atlas, the eastern highlands and the South-Eastern slopes, while they will vary between 1 and 7°C in the rest of the Oriental, the South-East, the Rif and THE interior regions North and Center. Other areas of the country will benefit from slightly milder temperatures, between 6 and 13°C. THE maximum temperaturesfor their part, will experience a slight increase or remain stable.
A westerly flow will bring rain and clouds from Sunday
Sunday will be marked by the arrival of a West flowbringing clouds and rains from the afternoon. THE precipitation will concern several regions, notably the plains located north of Safi, the Phosphates and Oulmès plateaus, as well as the Rif, the Mediterranean shore, the Saiss and the Middle Atlas.
