This is news that broke this morning on social networks. Located on the beach of Saint-Félix, in Le Gosier, the restaurant-bar Le Petit New-York is closing its doors for good after 15 years of existence.
A decision taken reluctantly by Bruno Jeanne, manager of the restaurant-bar.
The closure of Petit-New York today is linked to the climate around the establishment. We have a climate of insecurity which is taking hold with a lot of news events occurring in the area. We no longer recognize the activity we started 15 years ago. It was the last resort, we tried to change the way the establishment operated by being locked in with the security agents, unfortunately the events continued outside.

Because remember, less than a month ago, a 44-year-old woman was shot and injured in this bar.
-A drama that left its mark. And regulars in the area therefore have a divided opinion on the closure of the bar. Some condemn the closure and speak of it with nostalgia…
