“He wants to defend himself”

“Yes, he is fit to appear,” Me Brusa explained to BFMTV. “And besides, he wants it! He wants to defend his innocence and denounce, with us, the lies that have put him there today.”

Accused of violence by two former companions, the host produced, during the hearing on Wednesday August 28, a medical certificate mentioning in particular “massive anxiety, dark thoughts and sleep disorders”.

The practitioner who examined him then recommended “hospitalization in a protected environment”. The Paris judicial court then returned the file and ordered a complete second opinion before delving into the file.

Recently coming out of silence on the Instagram network to thank his supporters, Stéphane Plaza faces a sentence of up to ten years in prison and a fine of 150,000 euros. His trial is scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 9 at 9:30 a.m.
