Dorine and Antoine Le Corre are happy parents. Their third child, a little girl named Blanche, was born in good health on January 1 at 2:07 a.m. at hospital (Morbihan). The pregnancy was due to be due on December 30, but fate, damn mischievous, got involved and did things rather well.

After twenty-six long hours of work for the mother, Blanche came into the world on the first day of the year, just like her big sister Ombeline three years earlier! The latter had uttered its first cry at 12:22 a.m. in 2022…

“It seemed so improbable to us that this would happen. At the same time, we said to ourselves that it would be great,” says Dorine, who lives in Sulniac. The two sisters will now celebrate their birthday on the same day in the company of their parents and their big brother, Aubin, 6 years old.

The only disappointment: unlike Ombeline, Blanche narrowly missed the place for the first baby of the year at the Vannes hospital center. “We were overtaken within fifteen minutes by a mother who gave birth without an epidural,” jokes Antoine.

Pragmatic, the dad sees a certain advantage in this incredible double of January 1st: “We don't need an announcement since we are in the newspaper. We just need to buy it and distribute it to our loved ones. » Will the couple one day attempt the hat-trick, which would then be a real feat? “Oh no, it’s over for us,” Dorine and Antoine respond in unison.
