Call for a grant for the disabled in Tunisia: Towards social justice inspired by Europe

The President of the Tunisian Association for Education and Defense of the Rights of Blind Children called on Wednesday 1ᵉʳ January 2025, the State to allocate a subsidy to disabled people who have a card for this purpose in Tunisia, like what is done in European countries.

In this context, he called for the development of laws specific to the needs of people with disabilities and the provision of software and computers for the blind, as well as white canes that help them get around.

The President of the association also spoke on a private radio about the difficulties that blind children encounter in terms of mobility and the inadequacy of the infrastructure to their needs.
