Morocco in the group of death!

Algeria After qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup, Morocco has a strong chance of falling into the group of death along with Zambia and Nigeria.

The next African Cup of Nations (CHAN) is already shaping up to be a major event, but several uncertainties remain around its organization. Currently, the only certainty is that 18 teams will participate in this edition, which will take place from February 1 to 18, 2025. However, logistical obstacles remain to be overcome. The stadiums that will host the matches are still not ready, which puts additional pressure on the organizers. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is currently doing everything possible to ensure that these infrastructures are delivered before January 15, which partly explains the delay in announcing the date of the group draw.

In the meantime, speculation on the composition of the African Cup groups is rife, according to some reports, Morocco could find itself in a difficult group, with teams like Zambia and Nigeria. These two nations, traditionally strong, constitute formidable adversaries. If this configuration is confirmed, it promises intense encounters and a real test for the Atlas Lions, who will have to be up to the task to qualify in this competition.

Qualified teams will have to prove their value on the ground, but infrastructure management and compliance with construction deadlines remain key issues for the success of this event. The pressure is high, and CAF seems determined to ensure that the tournament is held in the best possible conditions, despite the logistical challenges.
