Faced with the ongoing humanitarian disaster in the French department of Mayotte, the Ébullition association is organizing a solidarity dinner with the small island in the Indian Ocean.
For the Mayotte evening on Friday January 10, four Marseille chefs will be at work in the artisanal microbrewery and restaurant La Brasserie de Mars, located at the entrance to La Conception hospital, on the rue Saint-Pierre side ( Marseille 5th): the itinerant chef and organizer of the Unusual Dinners Emmanuel Perrodin, Sébastien Cortez, chef at home and recently in residence at the République, the Comorian chef Nadjatie Bacar M'Ze (Douceur Piquante restaurant, in the 1st arrondissement) and Marseille chef Charlotte Carenou.
They will offer a unique half-vegetarian, half-fish menu, inspired by Mahorese cuisine. David Occelli, the brewer of Brasserie de Mars, will offer food and beer pairings around this menu.
The challenge is to raise funds to support the actions in Mayotte of the non-governmental organization (NGO) Solidarités international, particularly in first aid operations and access to drinking water for the Mahorese population.
