Coffee, mineral water, steak-fries-salad menu, aperitif… The traditional end-of-year survey of prices for Jura catering businesses was broadcast on Monday afternoon. GastroJura, in collaboration with the trustee Gastroconsult SA, announces that the average price of coffee in the canton has decreased this year.
We had to pay an average of 3.80 francs this year to drink a little black. This is 3 cents less than last year, but 9 cents more than in 2022. The lowest price in the canton for a coffee is 3.20 francs, the highest at 4.50 francs . The daily menu costs around 19.17 francs. The average price of a steak, fries and salad is 30.85 francs. As for the question related to vegetarian or vegan dishes, the survey shows that 86% of the establishments surveyed offer an offer.
Increase of around 1.17% for 2025
GastroJura announces in the press release that the increase in consumption prices in Jura restaurants will be on average 1.17% for next year. An insufficient increase according to Gastroconsult. It will not ensure a minimum of profitability in certain catering establishments in the canton, and will not compensate for increases in goods, salaries, insurance and certain charges (water, waste, etc.). For 2025, coffee will cost around 3.85 francs in Jura restaurants. /comm-ech
