The tradition of the Coupe de France is that the professional club donates its share of the match proceeds to the amateur club.
But the Kita family, owner of Nantes, decided to immediately claim their €13,000 from the Joan of Arc of Drancy.
For the sake of comparison, the highest paid player at the Nantes club receives a whopping €200,000 per month.
The unfair decision to deprive our club of playing at the Charles Sage stadium was motivated by the dangerousness of the Nantes supporters. It forced JA DRANCY to pay tens of thousands of euros so that the match could at least be held in the department.
To this already hefty bill will be added that of the restoration of the Bauer stadium, damaged last night by some idiots from the Nantes parking lot who set it on fire.
The FFF – French Football Federation cannot remain silent in the face of this unacceptable situation.
I express all my support to the large family of Joan of Arc of Drancy, its president and its volunteers who every day honor amateur football and carry the colors of our city high.
To avoid our club getting stuck financially and help it cope, we will vote for exceptional financial support at the next municipal council.
I call on all institutions, partners and lovers of the Drancé club to do the same.
