An original initiative. For encourage young minors to work during school holidays, the Greater Montauban Urban Community (GM) has decided to launch the device “pocket money” ce Thursday December 19.
Proposal for missions of general interest
Voted by a majority by the elected representatives of the GM, this program is an opportunity for the people of Tarn-et-Garonnais, “to be active in improving their living environment by carrying out local missions of general interest“, details the Urban Community.
By earning a little pocket money, they are forced to confront the world of work and its rules, while discovering professions and creating links with adults,” continues the GM.
This device is also intended to be a means of fight against youth inactivity during the school holiday period.
Bonuses amounting to 15 euros
Open to young people between 15 and 18 years old et domiciled in the territory of Grand Montauban, the “pocket money” system will offer missions during school holiday periods following: first week of autumn, winter, spring holidays, first two weeks of July and last week of August.
Still according to information communicated by the GM agglomeration community, “these missions are limited to 4 or 5 half-days per year per young person with a bonus of 15 euros net per half-day of 3 hours“.
Note that, to participate in its actions, young people must be member of youth center from Montaubancarrier of the device.
