Grenoble. Heavy snow falls in Isère: here are the sectors affected

Placed on orange snow-ice and avalanche alert, Isère was covered in snow in certain sectors of the department this Sunday December 22 and Monday December 23, 2024. And this should continue throughout the day Monday.

On Sunday, conditions were dire in Alpe d'Huez with heavy snowfall, mixed with violent gusts. If snowfall is less this Monday morning, storm Enol continues to wreak havoc with gusts of 75km/h.

Snow in Grenoble and southern Isère

This Monday, snow was also reported as far as the plains, where the center of Grenoble and Voiron were affected in the early morning. While the rain should take over during the day, the snowflakes will, however, continue to fall in the municipalities of Villard-de-Lans, La Mure, Valjouffrey and Le Bourg-d'Oisans, located south of Grenoble.
