Real Madrid: Libertad VCF calls to “empty Mestalla”

While poor results and tensions around the club accumulate, in Valencia, a protest movement could be organized during the visit of Real Madrid.

It is in a deleterious atmosphere that the late match between Valencia and Real Madrid could be played. As a reminder, the match initially scheduled for November 2 was postponed due to the terrible floods which had affected the Valencia region a few days earlier.

Today, the approach to the meeting could be disrupted again, but for political and economic reasons. The FC Valencia Libertad VCF supporters association is calling for the Mestalla stadium to be emptied for the Real Madrid reception scheduled for January 3.

Valencia – Real Madrid: “We will not be complicit with those who destroy our club”

Through a press release, reported by the daily Relief, the association publishes a call to boycott the match against Real Madrid. She denounces “The situation of Valencia CF has reached a critical and terminal point. Peter Lim and his accomplices here in Valencia have led our club to sporting, economic and social ruin.

As an association committed to the future of our team, we cannot turn a blind eye. It is our historic duty to speak out and act. This is why we are calling for a total emptying of the Mestalla on January 3, for the match against Real Madrid. We will not be complicit with those who destroy our club. “.

The association also explains that it is taking advantage of the significant media coverage of the match against Real Madrid to make its discontent heard.

A context which could therefore complicate the already difficult sporting situation of the club, since Valencia is experiencing great sporting difficulties this season. The club is currently 19th in La Liga with 12 points.
