This immersive experience takes us into the courtyard of the Sun King and introduces us to the leisure activities of the time. The Royal Chapel, the Hall of Mirrors, the Grand Apartments of the King and Queen and the Royal Court reveal historical scenes with baroque dancers, sword fights or even theater skits. Every year, with the arrival of good weather, the Palace of Versailles invites us to experience a immersive experience which takes us to the time of Sun King : The Royal Serenade. To learn more about this canon experiencelet us tell you what we were able to witness during our immersion in Versailles of the Sun King. The journey begins with a group poetry lesson, then the King's valet invites young and old to a chamber music recital in the Vestibule of the Royal Chapel.
For 10 minutes, we listen attentively to the musicians, before being invited to go to the Hall of Mirrors : during the stroll, we pass through the King's Chamber and his apartments.
In the magnificent Hall of Mirrorsat dusk, we witness a strange skitthe reception of the sultana at Court, a spectacle between the danse and the burlesquesomething to entertain young and old. The magic happens, but you have to remember to take a few minutes to find a viewpoint in the large gallery, because the visiting groups are made up of 100 people and it can be quite difficult to enjoy the show if you stay at the beginning or in the middle of the room.
Finally, the King's valet invites us to attend a fencing fight passionate about Battle Gallerythe largest room of the Château, which brings together the paintings representing all the great battles which have marked History, since the victory of Clovis at Tolbiac.
At the end of the 45-minute visit, the children are in heaven and have discovered colorful characters that they will remember, while the older ones are also transported by this immersion in the heart of History.
