Opposed to the Still-Mutzig Association, playing in Regional 1, for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, our Rémois showed seriousness to win against a valiant Alsatian team:
The Rémois set the pace at the start of the meeting. A first shot on target from Amine Salama (5th) sets the tone, before Gabriel Moscardo quickly opens the scoring with a great achievement (0-1, 8th). Well organized, the Rémois leave few opportunities for their opponents, who struggle to worry the Champagne defense. Despite their domination, Luka Elsner's men came up against a well-grouped Still-Mutzig team. A new attempt from Amine Salama hits the post (20th), but the Red and Whites are unable to widen the gap before the break, which they still reach in the lead.
Returning from the locker room, the Rémois got off to a strong start with Gabriel Moscardo whose cross header escaped the target (47th). The Champagne pressure intensifies: on a double opportunity, Mamadou Diakhon sees his shot repelled by the Alsatian goalkeeper, and Gabriel Moscardo, on the restart, comes up against a vigilant goalkeeper again (53rd). Against the run of play, Still-Mutzig managed to equalize, completely restarting the game (1-1, 60th). But the reaction from Reims did not take long. Well launched by Nhoa Sangui, Mamadou Diakhon progresses alone and unleashes an unstoppable strike to give his team the advantage (1-2, 65th). The Rémois continued their momentum and scored a third goal thanks to Nhoa Sangui, perfectly served by Keito Nakamura, who had just come on (1-3, 76th). Serious and diligent, Luka Elsner's men won against a combative Still-Mutzig team and qualified for the next round of the Coupe de France.
