Mercilessly despite being reduced to 10 at the start of the second half, the OAC dealt harshly against Cannet-Rocheville (4-1) and scored a second success in a row at home.

The Blues and Whites will have an excellent celebration. By crushing Cannet-Rocheville (4-1), the OAC concludes its year 2024 in the most beautiful way thanks to the achievements of Franco, Baptiste, Baana Jaba and Fari, in this late National 3 meeting.

A match which started at a cruising pace for both teams. The first quarter of an hour was poor in chances, the only scare to note in the Cannettans' defense came from Franco, who narrowly missed the ball on a nice Alesian cross at ground level (9th). Then the captain of the Blues and Whites finally hit the mark, with a nice dry strike nailing the opposing goalkeeper Constant, on a one-touch delivery from Baana Jaba (22nd).

The Blues and Whites were unable to drive the point home afterwards, despite great performances from the wingers Kubota and Baptiste, or even from Hamek, whose return was good for coach Malek's men. A first alert from a corner warned Maamouch, who can only push back without catching (29th), then a new burst of heat crossed the Alesian surface, with Grizzetti's off-target shot after a nice quick action from the visitors (38th) .

The punishment comes shortly after halftime. Mollo makes a mistake on an action that he disputes and takes a warning (his second in two games). The free kick is magnificently taken by Camerlo and hits the post. Grizzetti is faster than everyone and equalizes by surprising the defense (1-1, 45+2)

Red for Mollo

Returning from the locker room, Duvoux, touched at the end of the first period, leaves his place to Barut. And we didn't have to hang around too long at the refreshment bar because the Blues and Whites came back to score very quickly. Baptiste exercises very comfortably with the ball at his feet, and sends a powerful curling shot, hitting the crossbar at the same time (47th, 2-1).

The referee decides to give Mollo a second yellow card for a fault that was highly contested by the former Stéphanois, who leaves stunned (51st). The Alésiens are reduced to 10, Hakim Malek chooses to keep his line of four defenders and leaves Baptiste (very strongly applauded) for Mouandhu, who takes the place of Traoré, repositioned in the left axis of the hinge (52nd).

It took a superb block from Mouandhu to avoid a big chance from Camerlo in the area (60th). Then the genius of Hamek finally speaks. The excellent transmission from the middle for Kubota launched, but caught by Lahouel shows a first danger (64th). He is also the originator of the third Alesian goal scored by the Baana Jaba scoring machine. The scorer takes a ball deliciously stolen by Hamek from Rolando to the left of the visiting area (editor's note: who is not the former player) and scores in the empty goal (3-1, 66th).

Benezet makes his return to the pitch by replacing Hamek (69th), a few minutes later, the Alesian coach uses his last two cartridges and takes out Franco and Baana Jaba for Ekra and Fari (74th). It is even the second named who adds an additional goal to the match, with a wonderful lobbed shot which deceives Constant, well advanced (80th).

The OAC provisionally takes fourth place in Beaucaire which has one game in hand. The two teams will face each other for the resumption of the National 3 championship, next Saturday January 11 at 6 p.m. at the Philippe Schneider stadium. A meeting that promises to be exciting.
