Everything went like a dream for the Berjalliens who were able to take this 32e final by the right end against the red lantern of Ligue 2. The FCBJ achieved the feat of scoring three times in the first half against the Martégaux, clearly overwhelmed in the intensity. It was the lively Pierre Kohser who opened the sky and garnet festival. From the 3e minute of play, Yanis Mecheri recovered a ball at the halfway line to launch the Isère winger. He didn't tremble when deceiving the opposing goalkeeper with a nice cross shot (1-0, 3e). Eight minutes later, Kohser was involved in his team's second goal. A touch quickly played by Joris Mendy ended up at his feet, still on the right side, quickly he continued his effort into the area before serving Celal Bozkurt, who doubled the score (2-0, 11e).

The FCBJ did not panic and continued to punish martegalese errors.
