Super XIII – XIII Limouxin teaches a lesson – League

Limoux won 34-0 against , during the 11th day of Super XIII.

The start of the match was more than delicate for the Bisons who, after receiving the kick-off poorly, conceded in quick succession a penalty from Matis Dall'Asta then a try from Valentin Yesa powerfully at the foot of the posts.

On a muddy pitch, Limoux took advantage of an error by Baptiste Pourchi on a high kick to double the lead after a nice effort from Zachary Santo for Valentin Blasi. The Limoux winger did it again a few minutes later and dove in the corner to score a double after a play deployed on the right side.

Three minutes before the break, Maxime Grosson, back in the colors of SOA after being sidelined, was close to reducing the gap for his team, but Yann Belmaaziz, still as brave as ever, managed to make him lose the ball just before flattening. The sanction was immediate, Quentin Crunel on the following action mystified the defense and after a race of more than 80 meters concluded his race between the poles. The two teams returned to the locker rooms with a score of 22 to 0 in favor of the Grizzlies.

Quentin Crunel was twice close to scoring a double but twice Baptiste Pourchi kept an eye on things and propelled him into touch when it was time to score.

On the hour mark, Johnathon Ford jumped higher than the opposing full-back to grab the ball and pass it on to Matis Dall'Asta to widen the score. Zach Santo in his usual style slalomed through the defense and also tried.

Reduced to 12 following the yellow card of captain Valentin Yesa, Maxime Grésèque's players set up the barbed wire to leave their opponent of the day fanny and sign a precious victory before the winter break (34-0).
