Mortar fire at night in Ménimur
While the prefecture published a decree prohibiting the firing of fireworks in Morbihan from Monday December 30, 2024 to Thursday January 2, 2025, shots from mortars and firecrackers have been heard in Vannes in recent hours.
According to the national police, there was mortar fire in the night December 19 to 20 in the Ménimur district. “They are minors,” says an officer. There was no arrest.
Firecrackers in the middle of the day
Little ones fireworks were fired in Vannes on Friday December 20 around 3:30 p.m. “It was a Mahorese wedding. They were heading towards Saint-Avé,” said a police officer. The police have been notified. But there was no violation. The procession was able to continue its journey.
Contacted on Saturday morning during the Kicéo bus drivers' demonstration, a police officer told us that there was no mortar fire during the night from Friday to Saturday.
