Here is a newcomer in the world of street food in (Seine-Maritime). This one is called the Piadineria and is already very well known in Italy. Indeed, it is indeed an Italian chain that is setting up shop at Docks 76.

Its concept is based on the Piadineria (so), a kind of cakewhose dough more or less resembles that of pizza and in which customers put the ingredients they want.

A product to make known in

“You have to eat one to understand!” », summarizes Giovanni Petronelli at 76actu, the boss, in France, of the brand. In Italy, the franchise has already found its audience, as more than 440 restaurants have already opened in this country. “It’s only McDonald’s that has more,” summarizes Giovanni. If, in Italy, piadineria is a product that is part of our habits “like pasta and pizza”, in France, the manager knows, the product is “really unknown”.

In France, for the moment, eight have opened, but the manager now hopes to open around fifteen per year.

“It’s not fast food, it's street food of Italian quality,” says Giovanni Petronelli. “All our products come from Italy and are prepared fresh,” he says.

And for what price? “At home, we eat between 10 euros and 14 euros,” he continues. The cheapest piadineria is 6.90 euros. A sweet offering is also available. And to run this new restaurant, seven jobs were created by the chain.
