The complete rehabilitation of the E42/A16 from Tournai to Maubray towards Mons and the repairs of the expansion joints of the bridge of interchange no. 2 “Chaineux”, on the E42/A27 were completed at the beginning of December.
On the N90h in Huy, the repair of the surfaces of the “Lebeau” roundabout as well as avenues Joseph Lebeau and Godin-Parnajon was completed in mid-December. This was also the case for the road surface repair work near Couvin on the N5g.
The first phase of the project, aimed at repairing the concrete making up the N50 between Place de Pecq (Picardie Wallonia) and the entrance to the urban area coming from Courtrai, will be completed by the end of December at the latest. This portion of the N50 will then be accessible again in both directions. Construction will resume in the spring.
Finally, the rehabilitation of the surfaces between the entrance to Weyler and the Spëtz crossroads (Arlon) was completed on November 30.
More delays on the Ring: the very impactful Anderlecht project was supposed to end this Friday but will ultimately last… until the end of February!
19 projects are in progress or about to begin
In addition to this, 19 projects are in progress or about to begin, including major work on the E411/A4 with the rehabilitation between Daussoulx and Thorembais-Saint-Trond in progress since March 2023. The section under work towards Namur should be released during next spring as planned.
The transformation of the motorway into an urban boulevard between the Monsin barrier bridge and the Atlas bridge (E25/A25), on the Liège side, planned until summer 2025; the development of the Mont-Saint-Guibert crossroads at the E411-N25 into a diamond interchange and the rehabilitation of the Somme-Leuze viaduct (end of summer 2025) are some of the other important projects still in progress.
