Castre Basket Club
The senior II men’s team of Castres Basket lost (66-86) on its floor against Damiatte-Saint-Paul. The Castres therefore end this phase with six defeats in as many matches. The under-11s of the I team won 6-0 against Sidobre-Agoût-Roquecourbe and are at the top of their group with four successes in five days. In this same category, team II beat Carmaux III (4-2).
Castres Hanball
In handball, the senior men of Castres HB lost by a short head against the Albi reserve (26-27) and are now in third place, five points behind their opponents of the day. The senior ladies for their part gave in on the floor of Carcassonne II (30-24). Among the under-18s, the boys dominated Montauban II (54-30) in regional division 3 but lost against the Sud-Toulousain team (26-23) in division 4. In division 2, the under-18s 17 year old women were beaten by Rignac (30-37). Finally, in the under-15 boys category, the Castres won against Saint-Jean II (19-34) in a late match counting for the 4th division championship.
Castres Massaguel Volleyball
In volleyball, the regional 1 women’s team from Castres Massaguel Volley Ball won in three sets against Toulouse AC II (25-18, 25-18, 25-22) while the team playing in regional 2 won is inclined towards Fonsorbes (25-23, 28-26, 23-25, 25-9). The gentlemen laid down their arms against Team III from Puygouzon-Castelnau in three very close sets (24-26, 24-26, 25-27). Among the young people, it was time for the French Cup and Challenge. The women’s under-13s lost to Gruissan (2-1) and Sète (2-0). In the under-18s, both teams continue their journey. The girls having beaten Montauban (2-1) and Bergerac (2-0), the boys having taken second place in their group behind Clermont but ahead of Albi.
