Speaker at the closing ceremony of a workshop organized by theFrancophone African Alliance for Water and Sanitation (AAFEA)the minister stressed the importance of regional cooperation to guarantee universal access to these essential resources. The workshop, held on December 11 to 16, 2024 au Pink Lake (department of Rufisque), brought together nine civil society organizations of West and Central Africa to reflect on theeffectiveness of human rights water and sanitation, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
This event testifies to the collective capacity of the alliance and Member States to collaborate to achieve common objectives, particularly those of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)underlined Cheikh Tidiane Dièye.
