The Cavagnac library is offering a teddy bear exhibition until December 20. No less than 400 pieces are presented there, a feast for the eyes of children and adults too.

The history of bears begins at the beginning of the 20th century; Winnie was created in 1926, his descendant is present in this collection as well as the sea bears, the Santa Claus bears, their cousins ​​the pandas suspended in bamboo branches, the polar bears which remind us that global warming threatens them. The little cuddly bears squeezing into an old pram. Throughout the visit, it is possible to consult wonderful books on bears entrusted by the departmental library, which enrich this collection. Danielle Risso, head of the Cavagnac library, initiator of this collection, hopes that “the bears will go for walks in other places, libraries, nursing homes, communities and will spread the sweetness of tenderness, memories in all these places” .

The exhibition is visible on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please note: exceptional opening on Sunday December 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. before Christmas Day.
