Le Puy: half of Decathlon employees went on strike
Following a national strike movement, fifteen employees of Decathlon du Puy took action on Saturday. They denounced the canceled 2% increase in salaries based on the minimum wage while a billion euros was recently redistributed to shareholders. The strikers also regret the non-replacement of 1,000 jobs in 2024. Decathlon's new strategy based on digital also disturbs the mobilized employees, because this would lead to a reduction in the number of products on the shelves and therefore disappointed customers.
Hoarse: airlifted after hitting a bridge
Friday, around 9:20 p.m., a traffic accident left one injured on the RD 500, near the Vache bridge, in Raucoules. A 23-year-old woman from Loire lost control of her vehicle which hit a bridge. The victim was extracted from his vehicle by firefighters who then transported him to the Sainte-Sigolène stadium, where he was able to be examined by a Samu team. It was then decided to airlift him to the Saint-Étienne hospital center. The young woman's father went there, in particular to collect the dog which was present in the car during the accident. Tests for alcohol and narcotics were negative.
Polignac: he loses control and breaks through the hospital wall
The firefighters intervened on Saturday, around 3:30 a.m., avenue de Mondon, in Polignac. A vehicle ended up in the wall of the Émile-Roux hospital center, damaging an Enedis electrical box in the process. A 16-year-old boy was found injured next to the car. He was taken to a nearby hospital. An investigation is open to determine his level of responsibility in the accident.
Loudes: the unlicensed car slips and ends up in the ditch
The driver of an unlicensed car slipped on a patch of ice on Saturday at 8 p.m. while taking the Coubladour roundabout in Loudes. The cart ended up in the ditch.
Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaizon: fireplace
A chimney fire broke out in a house on Saturday around 8:40 a.m., at a place called Les quatre chemins, in Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaizon. Thanks to the intervention of the Puy firefighters, the disaster was limited to the conduit. There were no injuries.
Pébrac: a vehicle completely destroyed by fire
Firefighters responded on Saturday, around 12:50 p.m., to a burning vehicle on the RD 585, in Pebarc. Despite the work of six firefighters from Langeac, the car was completely destroyed. The reasons for the incident remain to be determined.
Yssingeaux: they hit blocks and leave on foot
Saturday, around 3:50 a.m., a Peugeot 208 hit blocks at Place du Garde-Temps in Yssingeaux. The car stopped across the track. It was occupied by two women, who left on foot. In the accident, an electrical box located at Place de la Victoire was damaged. A gendarmerie investigation has been opened.
Dunières: a teenager hit by a car
Two teenage girls were walking on Avenue du 11-Novembre in Dunières on Saturday around 7:20 p.m. While crossing the road, one of them was hit by a Citroën C3. The 29-year-old driver was unable to avoid the young woman. The 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital. She complained of shoulder and back pain.
