The Morbihan prefecture communicates:

“The prefect of Morbihan informs you that the department of Morbihan is placed in a state of level meteorological vigilance (level 3 out of 4) for the risk of violent winds between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow,
Saturday December 7, 2024.
Morbihan is also placed on yellow alert (level 2 out of 4) for the risk of thunderstorms from 6 a.m. this Saturday, December 7 until 6 p.m.

Weather update

Storm “Darragh” circulates from England to Belgium during the day on Saturday. It causes strong gusts of wind from to the coastal departments of , temporarily violent under showers on the coasts exposed to the west to northwest wind.
After the rainy spell next night, the wind strengthens in the trailing sky from the end of the night in the departments placed on orange wind alert. Locally stormy showers near the coasts generate sometimes violent gusts of wind, particularly on coastlines exposed to west to northwest winds.
