Wednesday November 27, 2024, the Maréchale-des-logis-chief Hélène Levillain hosted the first permanence of the Mobile Brigade of the Vallée d'Eure in the territory of Gauciel. This new initiative allows residents to benefit froma local welcome in their town hall, thus facilitating the accomplishment of all the acts that they would normally have carried out at the gendarmerie. The Department of Eure has validated all the proposals initiated by the prefect, in collaboration with elected officials.
Rénald Hamel, the mayor of Gauciel, was very satisfied with this new local service for Gauciel residents.
In addition to serving twelve municipalities in the canton of Pacy-sur-Eurethe Mobile Brigade of the Vallée d'Eure also covers four communes of the EPN agglomeration: Miserey, Gauciel, Huest and Fauville.
The Brigade is a public service and residents of neighboring villages can also go to the hotlines in neighboring villages.
The new staff strengthen the security offer, in particular by improving the presence on public roads in rural areas and by adapting as best as possible to the territorial network. The territorial brigade of the Vallée d’Eure is made up of five soldierstwo men and three women, under the command of Chief Warrant Officer Paul Brouthier.
Other members of the unit include Chief Marshal Hélène Levillain as well as gendarmes Gauthier Brunet, Marie Roger and Sophie Anglais. The soldiers of the Mobile Brigade are freed from numerous administrative or investigative tasks, thus allowing them to ensure a strong presence on the ground. They are able to carry out various acts, such as filing complaints, peace operations, handrails, proxies for voting, as well as various information and declarations, all as close as possible to citizens' homes.
To facilitate the procedures, l’application My Security is available to the general public. This application helps locate the nearest brigade, provide useful numbers, receive alerts and access information. Don’t hesitate to go and meet them.
Reception desk at Gauciel town hall, Friday December 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
